3. Find a support group. Pay close attention in your local newspaper to find out whether or not there is a support group in your area. Sometimes, you can find a support group that is free. When you have other people who are supporting your weight loss goals, you are more likely to achieve them. Not to mention the fact that you may benefit someone else’s life by sharing your weight loss tips with them.
4. Understand that this is going to be a life long process. You cannot meet your weight loss goals and then turn around and go back to your old lifestyle. Instead, you are going to have to live a new life that includes healthy foods and exercise on a regular basis. If you have a hard time with exercise, you can always count your housework as mentioned above. You may also think about getting a dog. This way, you are obligated to take it for a walk.
5. Ask your closest friend or your partner to help you to meet your weight loss goals. Hopefully, they will have some weight to lose as well. The two of you can exercise together, cook meals together, and begin to see results together.
